Trip settings let you customize the details of a trip — its name, banner photo, privacy, vehicle, and travel crew. Access them by clicking Trip settings in the itinerary panel while a trip is open.
Opening Trip Settings
With a trip open, click Trip settings in the itinerary panel. This takes you to a dedicated settings page with four sections in the left nav: Trip details, Trip vehicle, Travel crew, and Delete trip.
Click Back to Map in the breadcrumb at the top to return to your trip.
Trip Details
Trip Name - The name of your trip, auto-generated from your destination (e.g. "Sarasota Trip"). Click to edit and type a new name.
Description - An optional text field for notes about the trip.
Banner Image - A photo that represents your trip, pulled automatically from your destination. Use the left and right arrows to cycle through available photo options from the other stops on your trip. You can also upload a new photo for the banner and credit the photographer.
Privacy - Controls who can see your trip:
- Private — visible only to you and your trip collaborators
- Public — visible to anyone with a link to your trip or profile page
Public is the default. Switch to Private if you'd prefer to keep your trip to yourself or a specific group.
Click Save to apply any changes.
Trip Vehicle
Associate an RV with this trip so Campendium can apply your rig's dimensions to routing calculations and estimate fuel costs.
If you've saved an RV to your profile and set it as your primary vehicle, it will appear here as your default vehicle. You can add another vehicle using + Add another vehicle, or update fuel details:
- Fuel type — Gas, Diesel, etc.
- Fuel economy (mpg) — Used to estimate fuel costs for the trip
Click Save to apply.
Travel Crew
Tell Campendium who's coming on the trip. This helps Autopilot tailor stop suggestions to your group's needs.

| Adult | 35+ |
| Young adult | 21–34 |
| Teen | 13–20 |
| Kid | 3–12 |

Use the + and − buttons to set the number for each. Click Save when done.
Delete Trip
Permanently deletes the trip and all its stops. This cannot be undone. If you want to keep the trip but step away from it, use Close trip in the itinerary panel instead — that just returns you to the map without deleting anything.
