Each stop in your trip itinerary has a details panel where you can record additional information — arrival dates, budget, notes, reservation numbers, and more. None of these fields are required, but filling them in makes your itinerary more useful, especially for longer trips with multiple stops.
This feature requires an RV Pro membership.
Trip planning is available on the Campendium website. Trip planning is not yet available in the mobile app.
Opening Waypoint Details
Click the name of any stop in your trip itinerary to open its details panel.
You can also get there from the ... menu on the stop card — select Edit details.
Available Fields
Arrival date — The date you plan to arrive at this stop. Used to organize your itinerary by day.
Budget — What you plan to spend at this stop. If you enter a budget for any stop, the Trip Overview estimated cost becomes the sum of all stop budgets plus the fuel estimate — giving you a fuller picture of what the trip will cost.
Custom name — A name you choose for how this stop appears in your itinerary. Especially useful when you've added a stop by dropping a pin or entering a street address — instead of showing coordinates or a generic address, the stop displays the name you give it.
Exclude from route — Keeps the stop in your itinerary and on the map without routing through it. Useful for day trips from a homebase, tentative stops, or places you want to track without adding them to your driving route. See Keeping a Stop Off Your Driving Route for more detail.
Reservation number — A place to store your booking confirmation number for quick reference while on the road.
Private notes — Notes visible only to you, even if the trip is shared or public.
Collaborator notes — Notes visible to everyone on the trip — useful for leaving information for travel companions planning together.
Web link — A URL associated with this stop — a campground's reservation page, a park's website, or any other relevant link.
