Campendium is the default navigation tool in the app, but you can switch to Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze or other support navigation systems you have downloaded to your device. You can update this preference from your profile settings or from the Navigation tab before starting a route.
Note: Third-party navigation apps don't carry over your RV settings. For RV-Safe routing that accounts for your rig's height, weight, and length, use Campendium navigation.
From Profile Settings
- Tap Profile in the bottom bar.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Preferences, tap Navigation app.
- Select your preferred app: Campendium, Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze.
Your selection is saved automatically and will apply the next time you start a navigation session.
From the Navigation Tab
You can also change the navigation app on the fly when setting up a route.
- Tap Navigation in the bottom bar.
- Tap the settings icon next to your RV selector to open Trip Options.
- Tap the navigation app dropdown (shown as "Campendium (Default)" if you haven't changed it).
- Select your preferred app from the list.
This setting persists after the session, so your choice will carry over to future routes.
