The Navigation tab in the bottom bar of the Campendium app is a direct entry point for RV-Safe GPS navigation — useful when you want to navigate to a place without first finding it on the map or opening a campground page.
RV-Safe Navigation requires an RV Pro membership.
Setting a Destination from the Navigation Tab
- Tap Navigation in the bottom bar.
- You'll see an option to add an RV if you haven't saved one yet, or if you already saved an RV, tap the dropdown where you RV is listed to manage or confirm your RV settings.
- Tap the "Enter a location or coordinates" field to search for a destination by name, address, or coordinates.
- Tap the settings icon to open Trip Options if you want to apply avoidance settings or change the navigation app. Note that third-party apps don't carry over your RV settings, so use Campendium for RV-Safe navigation.
- After confirming your settings, tap Select Route.
- Review the route options — each shows estimated drive time and distance
- Tap Steps to preview turn-by-turn directions, or Go to start navigating immediately
Other Ways to Launch Navigation
The Navigation tab is one of three ways to start navigating. You can also launch from:
- A map pin — tap any pin on the map, then tap Navigate in the bottom sheet
- A campground page — tap the Navigate button at the bottom of any campground page
All three entry points go through the same RV settings and route selection flow.
