Anyone can use Campendium without a membership to:
- Browse the map and search for campgrounds, public land, and dump stations
- Read campground listings, reviews, and photos
- Write reviews and submit photos
- Save places to your account for easy reference later
- Submit new or missing campgrounds
RV Pro Features
A Campendium RV Pro membership adds:
- Trip Planning — Build road trips with a start point, destination, and up to 150 stops per trip. Add dates, notes, and details to each stop. Get as detailed as you want or keep it simple! Beyond Campendium's campground data, you can also find additional places for your trip including gas stations, rest areas, roadside attractions, and more. Trip planning is available on the Campendium website, and will be added to the mobile app soon.
- Autopilot™ — AI-powered stop suggestions based on 42 million real trips. Tell Autopilot what you're looking for and it recommends options tailored to your route.
- Trip Collaboration — Invite travel companions to plan together. Everyone on the trip can view and contribute to the itinerary.
- RV-Safe Navigation — GPS navigation in the mobile app that accounts for your RV's size and weight — avoiding low bridges, weight-restricted roads, and routes that aren't RV-friendly. On the web, you can apply your RV details to trip planning so that RV-safe routing is accounted for when you're planning your trip.
- CAMPalerts — Get notified the moment a sold-out site becomes available at a campground you're watching.
- Overnight RV Parking — Access the full database of free and low-cost overnight parking spots — Walmart lots, casino parking, Cracker Barrels, truck stops, and more.
- Cell Coverage Maps — Overlay AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile coverage on the map so you know what signal to expect before you arrive.
- Map Overlays — Additional map layers including traffic, public lands (BLM, National Forests, National Parks), wildfire smoke, and more.
- Additional Base Maps — Extra map styles beyond the default: Trails, Scenic, Light, and Dark.
- Offline Maps (coming soon) — Download maps for use without cell service.
