Roadtrippers and Campendium are two separate apps, each with their own focus — but they both offer trip planning tools to help travelers discover places and hit the road.
Campendium
Campendium is built around campground discovery and community. It's where you find places to camp, read real reviews from fellow RVers, browse photos, and now plan your trips and navigate with RV-safe GPS — all in one place tailored specifically to the RV lifestyle.
Key things Campendium is known for:
- The largest community-reviewed database of campgrounds, public lands, overnight RV parking, and dump stations
- Detailed campground listings with hookup info, amenities, cell coverage, pricing, and photos — all reported by real campers
- RV-focused trip planning and navigation built into the same app you're using to find campgrounds
Roadtrippers
Roadtrippers is a trip planning and GPS navigation app for road trips of all kinds — not just RVers. It has a large database of places to stop along a route, including attractions, restaurants, hotels, and campgrounds.
RVers who are already familiar with Campendium may find Campendium's trip planning experience more tailored to their needs, since it's built specifically around the RV lifestyle and pulls from Campendium's campground community data.
Are They Connected?
They separate apps and your account activity — favorites, saved trips, and reviews — does not carry over between the two apps. If you save a campground in Campendium, it won't appear in Roadtrippers, and vice versa.
Does My Membership Cover Both Apps?
It depends on when your membership started:
Legacy members (subscriptions active before May 18, 2026) have access to paid features in both Campendium and Roadtrippers under their existing plan. Those memberships continue as-is.
New members (subscriptions started after May 18, 2026) who start a subscription on Campendium are on the new RV Pro plan, which provide access to paid features in the app you purchased from only — Campendium or Roadtrippers, not both.
