Photos from real campers are one of the most useful things on Campendium — they show you what a site actually looks like before you arrive. Here's how to add your own.
Note that you need to be logged in to add photos.
Adding Photos via a Review
The easiest way to add photos is as part of a review. When you write a review for a campground, there's an Upload Photos section in the review form:
- Navigate to the campground page
- Click Write a review in the Reviews section
- In the review form, there's an Upload Photos section right after the review text field
- Drag photos into the upload area, or click browse files to select them from your device
- Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG
- You can upload up to 5 photos per review
Adding Photos Directly to a Campground Page
You can also add photos without writing a full review:
- Navigate to the campground page
- Click Add Photo in the bottom right corner of the photo gallery
- Select and upload your photos
Photo Tips
A few things that make photos most useful to other campers:
- Only add photos of the place itself — the campsite, facilities, scenery, road conditions, and surroundings
- The Campendium community loves to see photos of campsites, your rig in a campsite, and the amenities available at a camping location.
- Horizontal photos work best on Campendium, but we love to see 'em all!
Can I Delete a Photo I Added?
Photos cannot be deleted directly from your account. If you need a photo removed, contact our support team with a link to the photo and we'll take care of it.

On the Mobile App
Adding photos is fully available in the mobile app.
You can add photos as part of a review — tap Write a review on any campground page and use the Upload Photos section right after the review text field. Tap Add Photos to select photos from your device.
To add photos without writing a review, tap the camera icon button in the photo gallery area on the campground page.
