What should I do if there are issues with a guest?

It’s our goal for everyone to have a safe and positive experience, and we sincerely hope that no issues arise during any stays booked through Campendium. Just as you have reviewed our Host Standards, we encourage guests to review our Camper Standards before their stay, which provide guidance and expectations on appropriate behavior for camping at properties reserved through Campendium. We take reported issues seriously and do want to be made aware of any problems that arise.

If any issues come up during a stay, please contact the guest to discuss the problem. This gives them an opportunity to correct any issues or to get clarification if there was a misunderstanding. We encourage honest and respectful communication between guests and hosts so that you can reach a solution together. Be sure to take photos or videos relevant to the issue and keep any documentation such as correspondence with the guest.

If there is a situation where something is stolen from your property during a stay, as a first step, you’ll want to document the stolen items and contact the police to file a report.

Lastly, please contact us by filling out this form to report any issues. Include full details about the guest, the issue, attempts that were made to resolve the issue, any evidence (photos, correspondence, etc.), and the resolution you’re seeking. We will review the report and keep you updated.
