How can I cancel my subscription?

Auto-renewal is on by default for all members. You can follow the steps below to turn off auto-renewal on your subscription. Note that this will prevent any future renewals, and your membership will be valid through the current end date. It will expire after that date.

Members Who Signed Up via the Website Before 12/15/2021

If you signed up for a Campendium Membership prior to 12/15/2021 and you signed up on the Campendium website, you can view and edit your subscription and payment preferences on your profile.

You can cancel auto-renewal of your subscription by following the steps below:

  1. Go to https://www.campendium.com/
  2. Click your profile icon in the top right to go to your profile page.
  3. Select 'SUBSCRIPTION' from the menu on the left of your profile page. 
  4. Select 'CANCEL' to turn off auto-renewal.
Members Who Signed Up on the Website After 12/15/2021
If you signed up after this date, you signed up for your membership through Roadpass and will need to follow the steps below to manage your subscription.
  1. Go to https://chargedesk.com/campendium 
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Then, you'll be asked to check your email inbox to verify your account and continue. 
  4. Click the link in that email to manage your subscription.
  5. You'll see any active subscriptions listed in the Billing History section and can click 'Cancel Subscription' to turn off auto-renewal.
Purchased on iOS / Apple App Store

If you signed up for membership through the Campendium iOS app, you’ll need to cancel your subscription through Apple. You can update or cancel your subscription by following the steps below. You can find more info about managing Apple subscriptions here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

From your iPhone

  1. Opening the Settings app on your phone.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage (Campendium).
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.
    If there is no Cancel button, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

From your Mac:

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Click your name. If you can't find your name, click Sign In.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Scroll to Subscriptions, then click Manage.
  5. Next to the Campendium subscription, click Edit.
  6. Click Cancel Subscription.
    If there is no Cancel button, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

When you're looking at the subscription in your Apple account, if it says "Expires [date]" then auto-renewal has already been turned off and there will be no further charges. If it says "Renews [date]" then auto-renewal is still on and there should be an option to cancel.

Note that we cannot manage subscriptions that were purchased through Apple. You will need to cancel renewal within your Apple settings or contact Apple if you need help doing this.

Purchased on Android / Google Play Store
If you purchased a Roadpass Pro subscription in the Campendium Android app, you can manage your subscription within the Google Play Store subscription manager. This can be found on your Android devices within the Google Play Store options menu.

From your Android phone:

  1. Open the Google Play app Google Play.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions and then Subscriptions.
  4. Select the Roadpass Pro or Campendium subscription.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription.
  6. Follow the instructions.

From your computer:

  1. Go to play.google.com.
  2. At the top right, click your profile icon.
  3. Click Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Next to the Roadpass Pro or Campendium subscription, select Manage.
  5. In the confirmation pop-up, click Cancel subscription.

If you aren't sure where you purchased Roadpass Pro Campendium Membership, please contact us and let us know the email on your Roadpass Pro or Campendium account. We'll be able to confirm where your subscription was purchased and either cancel it for you or point you in the right direction if it needs to be canceled through Apple.
