What do the different color map pinpoints mean?

  • Blue pins mark RV Parks or privately managed parks and campgrounds.
  • Green pins indicate public lands – like national parks, national forests, BLM, state parks, Army Corp of Engineers parks, county parks, and city parks.
  • Purple pins represent parking lots - like Walmarts, casino parking lots, Cracker Barrels, and truck stops, rest areas. 
  • Brown pins designate dump stations.
  • On the app, the Red Camper pins indicate campgrounds that can be booked from Campendium.
  • On the website, the Red Circled Star marks the location you searched for.
